DUCK DEATH TULIP

Based on the storybook Duck, Death and Tulip by Wolf Erlbruch: written by Zsófia Bódi and Orsolya Fodor


Duck lives alone on the shore of the lake. Every day is the same: he gets up, walks, goes down to the lake, swims and goes to sleep. One day he senses that someone is following him. He looks back - and meets Death. Death has a tulip. Duck is very scared, wants to send Death away, Death is very scared, not going anywhere. Duck slowly begins to get used to Death's presence. Duck takes Death with him to the lake. The next day they climb a tree, play. Hide and seek.

Puppet philosophical tale about accepting death in 35 minutes. The performance is Orsolya Fodor's first stage production, which has been presented at several professional festivals such as the Szeged THEALTER Festival and the

Kaposvár Assitej Festival.
